|Virginia DX Century Club
We are a specialty amateur radio club that specializes in distance
communication or DX. Our premise is to make contacts with all Countries
listed throughout the world by the International Amateur Radio Union and its
various country organizations. Contacts are made via two way radio
frequency transmissions on authorized amateur radio bands. To learn more
about amateur radio please go to the Amateur Radio Relay League or ARRL.

The next meeting will be held at the
Frankies Place for Ribs in Fairfield Chopping Center, corner of
Kempsville Rd and Providence Rd. Dinner starts roughly at
6:15 PM. Each member is responsible for his/her own dinner.
We will present the Ham of the Year at this meeting.

Tidewater Chapter of the Potomac Valley Radio Club (PVRC) meets
on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM at Frankie's
Plave for Ribs. PVRC is a regional organization that specializes in contesting
or "Radio sport". The Club is based in the Metro Washington DC area
and has chapters in VA, DC, DE, MD, NC, PA and VA. To
